I first sanded Victorian floorboards in 1986. The incredible visual transformation has stayed with me throughout my time as a professional floor sander.

This is still my preferred area of expertise and when I see the beauty of the wood gradually emerge from the darkest, dirtiest, bitumen covered floorboards, I find it just as rewarding now as I did all those years ago.

Filling & repairing Various gap filling options are available during the sanding process. Reclaimed timber fillet is one of our specialities since it counters the problems of shrinkage and falling through that other fillers can have. We are also able to repair damaged areas, strengthening joists where necessary, for example, when replacing floorboards where fireplaces have been removed.
